What 2018 Yearly Horoscope brings to Leo
With both Pluto and Saturn in your career sector, your 2018 horoscope is about your public image and success, dear Leo. At the beginning of the year you will need to organise your day-to-day schedule as well as possible, in order to make the most out of this year’s astrology. The best time to plan your next moves will be around the Lunar Eclipse in your sign at the end of January. By April, all your efforts on the work front will start bearing fruit and your status will rise. If you are in a relationship, your partner will have to be understanding of the demanding social and work life you might need to cope with. If single, there will be new relationship opportunities, particularly around May.
The big news in the 2018 horoscope is Uranus moving from Aries to Taurus in May, giving a tremendous boost to your dreams and aspirations. It might be a time of instability and uncertainty, but this period will favour the bold Leos who are ready to pursue their passion. Opportunities to promote your interests will be aplenty, as you are under the spotlight. Make good use of them and don’t get lazy now, because it’s your chance to shape the life you want. Try to not waste resources or shy away from responsibility and you will be rewarded by then end of the year.
August and early September might prove a bit more challenging due to the last Eclipse in your star sign and the overall astrology. But from October onwards you will feel much more at peace and ready to be even more generous towards people less fortunate or close friends. Around that time, your love life and relationships will start to be a focus, as you will have harnessed all the energy provided to you throughout the year. Your 2018 horoscope is all about taking advantage of the opportunities and claiming the success you deserve.
2018 Love and Relationship Predictions for Leo
When Saturn left your romantic sector in the closing days of last year, he wrapped up a three year visit that had been through many seasons. Saturn is the hard taskmaster of the cosmos and since returning in December 2014, has taken you through the School of Hard Knocks, but in the process has left you with a clear sense of what you want from love and of where you need to take responsibility. Saturn’s final year and final months in particular were the best, with support flooding in to turn the lessons of the past three years into a new sense of resolve. Saturn won’t follow you into 2018, but his legacy will and so too will his entourage. The Sun left two days after Saturn and Venus, planet of love left on Christmas Day.
However Mercury, who spent the final weeks of 2017 in retrograde motion, will stay on until the 11th January. It is then that you will experience something not experienced in over three years and that is no planetary activity on the romantic front. This is only for a few days, with Mars returning from the 27th January to the 18th March to exploit as much untapped romantic potential as possible. One anomaly this year and an encouraging sign is that Venus, planet of love won’t visit your romantic sector in 2018. Having left on Christmas Day 2017, Venus won’t return until early January 2019. Had you needed her Venus would be here. Instead, Mars will continue to keep romantic matters fuelled until the 18th March, with the love gods leaving you on your own until Mercury returns on the 31st October. Though to make up for Venus’ no show, Mercury once again turns retrograde here, spending more than his usual 15 days. Moving through from the 31st October to the 2nd December and then returning for a double dip visit from the 13th December to 5th January 2019, he’ll keep the seat warm until Venus returns just days later.
Meanwhile, relationship forces remain in play for the majority of the year. With the South Node in your relationship sector until the 7th November, a series of fateful eclipses is yet to run its course. A solar eclipse on the 16th February and a total lunar eclipse on the 28th July, will both bring the element of fate into play. There is also a lot of planetary activity on the relationship front this year. This is especially so in the first two months of the year, with the Sun, Venus and Mercury all investing everything they can into your relationships. Yet the real support will come from Mars, who will spend an extraordinary amount of time working with your relationships. Mars will move through from the 16th May to the 13th August, only to return from the 11th September to the 16th November. This is much longer than the six weeks he will normally spend fighting for your relationships.
2018 Career Predictions for Leo
As far as professional years go, they don’t come much bigger than this or as game changing. Nothing you have experienced in the past can prepare you for what this year holds or what this year will open the door to, for quite frankly there has never been a year like this before. The planets operate in cycles. From the Sun, Venus and Mercury’s return to the same area of your chart once a year, to Mars’ once every two years, Jupiter’s every 12 years and Saturn’s every 30 years, these are the predictable cycles that we can expect. What is happening on both the work and career fronts this year doesn’t fit into those cycles, for on both fronts you have developments this year that are in the once in a lifetime category. Yet this is set to become your new normal, for many years to come. To start with all new developments are on the job front and this is still very new.
You have had Pluto, planet of change and revolution in your work sector since 2008, so he has become part of the wallpaper, with an ongoing need for change, growth and evolution. Everything changed on the 20th December 2017, just two days before the Sun also returned, with Saturn returning for his first visit in three decades. You have had Saturn in your work sector before and he will return in another three decades, but you have never and will never have Saturn and Pluto together here at the same time and that changes everything. Pluto has been working towards change, growth and evolution for nearly a decade now, while Saturn returns to give you the power to move mountains if you have to. Together anything is possible and they will work together for the next three years. With Jupiter returning later next year, this expansive three year period will only get better over the years. Starting the year with the Sun, Venus, Saturn and Pluto in your work sector means you have support for this powerful new year on the job front. While Mercury will return from the 11th January to the 1st February, Saturn and Pluto will be on their own once he leaves. Yet Mars will also move through from the 18th March to the 16th May and then again from the 13th August to the 11th September, ensuring there is plenty of support throughout the year.
With such a massive year for job growth and change, you would expect that this would bode well for the planetary activity on the career front this year. With no major planetary activity on the career front for many years now, it is expected that this would be more back up for work and job matters and a short chance to get career matters up to speed. But as I said, there are game changing and once in a lifetime developments on the career front as well. The most active weeks on the career front run from Venus’ return to your career sector on the 31st March to Mercury’s departure on the 30th May, a period that is unremarkable and the normal that you would expect in any year. However, everything changes with Uranus’ return to your career sector on the 16th May, while the Sun and Mercury are still here. Apart from a short break from the 7th November to the 6th March 2019, Uranus is here until 2027. This is long after Saturn leaves your work sector in December 2020 and even after Pluto leaves in 2024. With Uranus making his first visit since 1942, just as there are once in a lifetime developments on the job front it is going to change the whole dynamics of your professional game.
2018 Money Predictions for Leo
While the main focus is on your financial situation and money matters as a whole this year, the planetary activity that you do have on the income front is all favourable and is likely to punch well above its weight. And for a similar reason for why this is destined to be such a good year for money matters as a whole, which is outside support. Chiron, gatekeeper to old financial demons, has been in your financial sector since 2010 and Neptune, planet of dreams and fantasies since 2012. These are an unlikely pair, as Neptune is all about financial dreams and Chiron deals with the realities of old financial demons. This year two things happen that change everything.
The first is the support that both planets are getting from lucky Jupiter this year, support that will remain strong right through to early November. The second thing that happens is that Chiron will leave your financial sector on the 17th April, taking him out of the game. This will leave Neptune on his own for the first time since he arrived, with a chance to get serious about your financial dreams. The more active point of the year for money matters is when the Sun, Mercury and Venus move through. This year this will begin with Venus’ return on the 11th February and will run through to the Sun’s departure on the 21st March. This isn’t a very long period and with Mercury in here from the 18th February to the 6th March, this is a chance to get in, take care of any financial housekeeping and move on. The biggest impact from Chiron’s departure from your financial sector is more likely to be felt on the income front.
The most lucrative months of the year are when there is planetary activity in your income sector, which there will be from Ceres’ return on the 28th June to the Sun’s departure on the 23rd September. This is a period of nearly three months, almost twice as long as the planetary activity on the financial front earlier in the year. That is because Ceres is making her first visit in four years and the timing couldn’t be better. Chiron will return to your financial sector on the 26th September, before finally leaving for good next February. The window that Chiron won’t be in your financial sector and therefore won’t put pressure on the planets in your income sector runs from the 17th April to the 26th September. And the most lucrative months of the year on the income front run from the 28th June to the 23rd September, ending just three days before Chiron returns. I said at the start that the planetary activity on the income front would punch above its weight and that is because of the huge developments on the job front this year. It is right during the time that the planetary activity is playing out on the income front that Mars will be helping to create some stunning conditions on the job front.
