Dear Scorpio, this is your career horoscope for 2017:
The first impressions of this new professional year are likely to be confusing and all because of the one planet that has been driving things on the work front since 2010 and will continue to drive things until he finally leaves your work sector in March 2019. Because Uranus and your work situation and matters came in for some mixed fortunes in the final weeks of 2016, you are likely to as well. Since Saturn’s return to your income sector in December he has been on friendly terms with Uranus in your work sector and that has created a good working relationship between the two. However, over those two years they have been moving closer together, until their partnership finally peaked in the final days of 2016, unleashing all the unlocked potential on both fronts. This is why there is such a confident start to the year. However, at the same time Uranus was under pressure Jupiter, who in the final months of an old Jupiter cycle, also demanded that you take the time to hear yourself think. That will have created a mix of job confidence, but also work tension and job pressure and you’ll move into the year with both. Yet, as confusing as that might be, it has unlocked something potentially game changing and with Saturn not leaving your income sector until the 20th December, as well as a big year for job growth, this should also be a lucrative year as well. However, before moving into the year it has been made clear that you must work smarter and pace yourself. The first four weeks of January will provide a chance to catch your breath, but that will end dramatically with Mars’ return to your work sector on the 28th January. Teaming up with Uranus this is set to unleash six of not only the busiest weeks of 2017, but the most serendipitous as well. The first sign that fate is at play is Venus’ return to your work sector on the 3rd February, so early in the year that she will be pulled back by the Sun. Instead of moving through in just 24 to 26 days, Venus will return to your work sector on the 3rd February but won’t leave until the 3rd April and even then, will return for a double dip visit from the 28th April to the 6th June. With Mars not leaving until the 10th March, between them Mars, Venus and Uranus are set to make history on the work front in the early months of the year, with support right through to early June to bring things home. So when you have a chance, in the first four weeks of the year to catch your breath, trust me, you’ll need it. For it is while things are still playing out on the work front that fate will come into play on the career front, in early May. For the most part this will be subtle, just a sense that an unseen hand is drawing things forward, but as you move into the second half of the year that hand will become more obvious. The most active months of 2017 for career matters will run from Mercury’s return to your career sector on the 6th July to Venus’ departure on the 20th September, yet a lunar eclipse on the 11th February, during Venus and Mars’ early days in your work sector, will be an early sign that fate is in play. An unmissable sign will be a total solar eclipse on the 21st August, creating the potential for major and fateful new beginnings.
